The Difference Between Algae And Fungi

Seeing as we’ve written about both in the past, we thought it was only right that we explain the differences between algae and fungi, as people do seem to still be confused.

Algae is mostly found in aquatic bodies but can also be found on rock surfaces and humid areas. Being able to grow over 100 feet in length and reproduce in many different ways, algae needs to be removed as soon as possible to avoid a mess.

Fungi lives similar to most plants, as they grow in soil and are immobile. Fungi is prominent in most habitats, hence the fact you may have seen some around your roof. They commonly survive on carbon based life-forms such as plants, insects etc.
