New tech 100% Recycled Self-bonding, Roof Slate/Shingles

A new alternative to slate tiles is now here! Unlike other synthetic roofing materials out there on the market, the eco tiles are self bonding and bond well together over time especially in the summer months as the self-bonding process works better with heat, thus creating a pliable membrane that is water tight and well insulated from the elements.

They don’t have the same problems as real slate tiles and can be cut to any size and easily cut or snipped, as well as fitted on many different types of roof configurations with Velux windows or solar panels. Because the material is made from recycled plastic and other materials, no moss will grow on them and they will be maintenance free. They are virtually indestructible and can withstand wind speeds of upto 110mph.

Made to imitate the natural look and feel of real slate tiles, and available in 3 of the traditional colours of standard real slate tiles.

Permo Air Low Resistance Air-open Underlay

A new type of roofing underlay is now available from Permo Air. The material is air-open and vapour permeable, with a low resistance that protects against condensation that may normally form in the roofspace during the drying out period of a building; because the material is a breathable membrane no ventilation is required during the installation.

Very easy to install as each roll is lightweight and portable, therefore easy to lay down; it also has superior nail tear strength thanks to the strong 3 layer material. It’s hydrophobically treated to repel water, and also offers great UV protection for up to 3 months after installation on the roof before the roofing tiles are fitted into place.

Great for warm and cold roofing applications, so can easily be installed regardless of hot or cold weather conditions without any real problems.

When replacing this material it’s fully recyclable, so you don’t have too worry too much about it’s environmental impact either.
